I Can Honestly Say That I Miss the Baseball Season
Here’s my morning so far:
- Wake up and do the usuals
- Go to English class
- Grab free hot cider from those wonderful kiosks my school has
- Go to Theatre History class
- Check my (snail) mail box (no mail)
- Go to my dorm
- Check my school email and my not-school email
- Check my facebook
- Visit Lohud
- Visit MLB Trade Rumors
- Refresh Lohud
- Refresh MLB Trade Rumors
- Refresh Lohud
- Refresh MLB Trade Rumors
- Refresh LoHud
- Refresh MLB Trade Rumors
- Refresh MLB Trade Rumors
- Refresh MLB Trade Rumors
- Refresh MLB Trade Rumors
- Refresh MLB Trade Rumors
- Refresh MLB Trade Rumors
- Refresh MLB Trade Rumors
(I think you get my point.)
It took a few refreshes to realize that I was probably going to get more out of MLB Trade Rumors than LoHud, which is why stop refreshing (for the time being).
As you all probably now, the reason I was ‘refreshing’ these pages was because of this news.
Austin Jackson and Ian Kennedy and Phil Coke and Michael Dunn?! All for Curtis Granderson and one or two ARI prospects? I don’t know. Seems a little high (on the Yankees side, that is), in my opinion.
Update 1:10 PM: I may not agree with this blockbuster trade 100%, but let’s get it done anyway. I have final exams starting later this week and really can’t waste my precious time refreshing and refreshing MLB Trade Rumors.
