Alberto Gon-CRAZY!!
While the Yankees have Ramiro Pena's glove and Angel Berroa's pompoms, the Washington Nationals have Alberto Gonzalez.
Gonzo has been outstanding since his call-up in late May. Check it out.
He's now coming to New York for a three-game series. Oh, boy.
Other Notes:
- Out of all the major team sports (MLB, NBA, WNBA, NHL, and NFL) there are only two games today.
- This whole Brian Bruney and Francisco Rodriguez soap opera has got to end. They're agruing (or whatever) and not even in the same state. They can should thank technology.
- I've been dying to see Johan Santana and Phil Hughes pitch in the same game and I got see it yesterday. I'm glad that the 9th-inning closer reliever faired better.
- I will get to see Cal Ripken Jr. speak in September.
