- Johnny Damon reaches on force attempt... Thanks to an error no one is out. Sabathia scores, Gardner goes to third, and Damon goes to second.
- Mark Teixeira reaches on fielding error (yes, it's the third one in this inning). Gardner scores and Damon goes to third.
- Alex Rodriguez walks. Bases loaded.
- Robbie Cano pops up to Luis Castillo who drops it catches it. 2 outs.
- Cabrera grounds out ending the possibility of more runs. 4-0 Yankees after 1 1/2 innings.
